I’ve always wanted to visit London. I’ve heard a lot of how special it is. Why special? What is so special about it?
Well it IS SPECIAL !! It’s just different than any other European city. But at first some facts:
London is the largest city in the European Union. On July 2007, it had an official population of 7,556,900. The city is a major tourist destination for both domestic and overseas visitors, with annual expenditure by tourists of around £15 billion. It is one of the world’s most important business, financial, and cultural centres and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion.

In London you can find a tradition and modernity at the same time. And even that it’s a real metropolis I felt just like home, like I belong there. The atmosphere of London - the architecture, museums and art galleries, thousands of shops and hotels, streets, traditional English cabs, red Phone Booths, people of many nationalities, cultures and religoins - it all makes this city worth seeing.
They say that London is expesive, well, it might be, but you can also find some nice cheap hotels and shops
Of course we visited London not just once! We’ve been there with Greg at least 5 times…. It’s really hard to say but it may have been even 10 times!! We like to travel and have seen some other European cities, but London still IS THE BEST!
The fine hotel in Kensington:

The Canary Wharf - Business district

London by night:
The famous Big Ben

And The London Eye

Regents Park - A great place where you can spend your free time

So, as you can see yourself - how not to love London? Sometimes I think I could live there…
We’re back after 2 months break of blogging.. basically, we decided not to write on this blog anymore and then, out of nowhere, changed our minds again
